Located in Lake Zurich, IL, we focus on developing methodologies, instrumentation, and procedures to enhance radiological applications, with particular emphasis on musculoskeletal and spinal imaging.


Key Responsibilities

  • Study Design & Implementation: Design major studies and interventions focused on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) modalities and musculoskeletal/spinal diagnostics.

  • Research & Data Analysis: Conduct research on causes, contributing factors, and environmental effects on musculoskeletal joints and vertebral discs. Evaluate test data, analyze findings, and prepare comprehensive research reports.

  • Patient Evaluation: Examine patient data for osteoporosis studies and conduct comparative assessments over time intervals.

  • Data Management: Record, process, and maintain patient data and treatment records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and information management subsystems.

  • Kinetic Studies: Plan and direct research focused on kinetic motion artifacts and musculoskeletal system kinetics.

  • Contrast Agent Evaluation: Assess effects of contrast drugs on patients using post-contrast scanning of the spine and musculoskeletal system.

  • Protocol Development: Develop and evaluate extension, flexion, and neutral scanning techniques, and explore possibilities for new scanning sequences and methodologies.

  • Patient Interaction: Collect thorough medical histories, review patient files, and conduct interviews for data collection on an ongoing basis.


Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Medicine, Biology/Pathology, or Radiology.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Research Scientist, Radiologist, or a related role.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and data management systems.

  • Experience with MRI modalities and related diagnostic equipment.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and research skills.

  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a research team.


Compensation

  • Salary: $65,083.00 per year.
